Ponderosa Ranch Suriname – a short fifteen minute drive due West from the beautiful capital city of Paramaribo.

We like to say – “where horseback riding is a family affair”.

The ranch is run by the Lim A Po family and caters to all levels of equestrian sport. There are various corrals for dressage and show jumping including an International sized 3200 square meters facility, as well as various guided trailing opportunities both on and off premises.

Guest riders are welcome! If you are not easily distracted by the sound of the Amazon parrots flying overhead you can enjoy riding at almost anytime, as the ranch has lighted corrals, and for the more daring riders the clear tropical starry nights provide enough light for a truly enjoyable Suriname riding experience.

The ranch has a strong breeding program emphasizing the world famous Dutch dressage and show jumping breed, KWPN.
